The back represents the support and support of life, it is the place that protects us if we feel powerless in the face of a person or situation. Several expressions: I have full my back, I turn my back, I bend my back, I stab in the back, all these expressions say a lot.

 

My back is full: We feel that our survival is in danger and that we will be let down, then we have to realize that we are leaning on something or someone who is outside of us,we have difficulty moving forward, In short, it is important to rely on its internal resources, to trust its intuition which guides us in the actions to be taken to achieve its objectives.

A soft back indicates a large mental opening while stiff back means pride, power and unwillingness to yield.

 Valerian: Relaxing, it intervenes on the muscle component of pain

The Harpagophytum
In addition to its anti-inflammatory properties, harpagophytum exerts an analgesic action.
This plant acts on mobility and joint flexibility.
Also called devil’s claw, it is rich in harpagositis, a valuable anti-inflammatory substance in cases of sciatica, low back pain. To be absorbed as capsules or decoction of roots, three times a day, until the pain stops.
Its benefits usually manifest themselves after about ten days.

The meadow queen: a meadow queen is used for its analgesic properties, Mainly to relieve moderate temporary pains: headache, dental pain; joint or rheumatic or tendon pain, whether or not related to mild trauma.
Taking queen meadows can lead to moderate stomach pain.

White willow: White willow bark is considered “plant aspirin” because it is rich in salicylated derivatives. It is anti-inflammatory and analgesic. Its use is recognized in the short-term treatment of lumbar and joint pain.
These plants contain salicylated derivatives, precursors of aspirin. This is how they have very interesting anti pain and anti-inflammatory properties in case.

Horsetail: The remineralizing and anti-inflammatory properties of horsetail, known as rat tail, can relieve pain related to mild joint trauma, It is also traditionally used to prevent osteoporosis. It should also be noted that horsetail improves tendon flexibility.

Nettle, whose aerial parts are rich in calcium and silicates and which has an anti inflammatory action. Nettle also contains zinc, iron and vitamins, stimulating molecules.

 

Bamboo: is rich in silicon and allows the fixation of calcium, the synthesis of collagen, In fact, Silica, necessary for the skin and bones, promotes the reconstitution of cartilage and the remineralization of bones.


These plants are rich in minerals and particularly in silica, a substance important for skin and bones.:


Lithotame: it is a seaweed that crystallizes on its thall calcium mainly but also magnesium and iron and therefore has a remineralizing and anti rheumatic action.

Blackcurrant has a particular antioxidant potential thanks to its flavonoid content, vitamins C and P, blackcurrant leaves are rich in flavonoids with anti-actioncombined with a diuretic action that promotes the eliminati of the organism’s waste.
It also exercises an interesting venootonic activity for the legs.


Turmeric: Anti-inflammatory, turmeric also limits bone demineralization. To be used especially in case of back pain related to osteoarthritis.

The main anti-back pain essential oils are:


St John’s Wort excellent anti-inflammatory, also to be used in combination with sweet almond oil in massage;

Lavender:
Same as St John’s Wort essential oil, and indicated for stress, agitation, hyperactivity, fatigue and anxiety.
Rosemary: to be used in massage, with a few drops of sweet almond oil, is effective against aches, pains, arthritis, among others. Its analgesic and tonic properties make it a premium oil for back pain.
Marjoram: it warms, soothes and relieves joints and muscles (it is also emotionally soothing ).
Ginger: very effective against muscle pain in gen eral, also to be used with sweet almond oil in massage;
Juniper :anti inflammatory and analgesic

In case of low back pain related to stress or anxiety, add a few drops of essential oils of neroli, small grain or geranium.

If the pain is due to a pinched, sciatic type nerve, the essential oils of peppermint and cloves are interesting for their hot/cold effect and their anti-inflammatory action. They can also be combined with lavender essential oil which is an excellent calming agent of the nervous system.
2 drops of HE of lavender officinale + 2 drops of HE of peppermint + 2 drops of HE of cloves in 10 drops of arnica oil, sweet almond or macadamia, to be used in massage.


Among the essential oils with anti-inflammatory action and indicated for back pain is the essential oil of Gaultherie which is very rich in methyl salicylate which has properties similar to those of aspirin

The essential oil of Eucalyptus Lemon is anti-inflammatory, analgesic and powerful anti rheumatism, so it is effective in relieving pain, soreness and muscle stiffness..

Synergy of essential oils for lumbago
Here is a mixture that will help you with your lumbar pain.

To achieve this you will need:
30 drops of Gaulthérie Odorante essential oil, queen oil for muscle and joint pain thanks to its analgesic and rubfing actions
30 drops of Sylvester Pine essential oil for its anti-inflammatory, analgesic and analgesic properties
30 drops of Eucalyptus Lemon Essential Oil to relax muscles and tendons and reduce pain
30 drops of Lavandin Super essential oil for its calming and sedative properties that will soothe the nervous system
30 drops of Macérât Huileux from Millepertuis which also has analgesic properties and will facilit

Mix all the ingredients mentioned in a glass bottle and apply locally 4 to 6 drops of the mixture 3 times a day until noticeable improvement.
